Carefully cultivated at the perfect altitude, (1,200 to 1,500 masl) in the prestigious Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta region, by a small network of Certified Fair-Trade Organic farmers in Colombia’s Northern Mountain range.
The Association of Indigenous Producers Asoarhuaco is a group of producers who are dedicated to cultivating their farms in culturally traditional ways that emphasize a balance with, and deep respect for, nature. Their spiritual philosophy guides their farming practices and they believe that everything has its place in nature allowing all beings that inhabit the planet to live in harmony.
Coffee is produced under shade trees, using fertilization and pest-control-management practices.
